Short answers to what people ask most often.
Conversation
What is GLUE?
A conversation with the sphere. It’s a friend to talk to, not a questionnaire: there’s nothing to fill in. The sphere is an AI, not a person.
Where do I start?
Tell the sphere what you want: to compare yourself with a star or with someone you know, to find someone for an evening or for years, to make friends. It takes the shortest way there: first it builds your portrait, and once it is ready, the search starts by itself, and it offers the comparison right away, with its price. The conversation goes on all the while.
Is the star real?
Their portrait is built from years of interviews, books, roles and appearances. The star takes no part in GLUE: the portrait shows them as they reveal themselves in public material.
Does the sphere write first?
Yes. If the conversation stalls, it carries on by itself. If you go quiet, after 10 minutes it gently checks in or suggests a step, and after that it writes no more than once a day.
What if I said goodbye?
Then it won’t message you straight afterwards. A day later it may come back with something new, and if you ask it not to write, it won’t.
How the sphere gets to know you
How does the sphere get to know me?
Through role play and situations, one theme over many turns. You don’t have to recall moments from your life: a scene shows who you are anyway.
Can I step out of a game?
Yes, any time, just say so. The sphere talks about intimacy only with adults and only if you agree.
Why is there no questionnaire?
The sphere learns what it needs in conversation. It asks your age and city briefly, in passing, and usually picks up your gender by itself.
About me
What does the half circle show?
What percentage of you the sphere already knows.
What is the path to your portrait?
Until you reach 100%, the path shows under the half circle: the scenes you’ve played, where the conversation wandered, and what is still missing before 100%, like a photo or a bit more talk. At 100% the page becomes your full breakdown, and all comparisons open.
Who sees the “About me” page?
Only you. Lives with other people are lived by a model of your personality, not by your text.
Photo and face
Why a photo?
A photo is part of your portrait: without it the portrait won’t reach 100%, and comparisons won’t open. One with your face up close works best: the face check compares against it too.
What is the face check?
About ten seconds in front of the camera: look into it and turn your head twice. It confirms that the photo is you.
Karma
How much does a comparison cost?
Comparing with a star or a friend costs karma, and the further ahead you look, the more it costs. The price shows on the star’s or the friend’s page when you pick the span.
How do I get karma for free?
For steps: a photo, a saved sign-in, the face check. How much each one brings is on the “Karma” screen.
What does a friend bring?
A friend who came through your link brings karma once their portrait is ready; how much is on the “Karma” screen. If your portrait is ready by then too, the sphere runs your life together on its own right then, for the longest span the karma for that friend covers.
Can karma be spent without asking me?
Not for a star: the sphere names the price first and waits for your yes. The only thing run without asking is your life with a friend you invited.
Sign-in and account
Why sign in?
You can start as a guest. Signing in with Google, Apple, Telegram or email keeps your profile from being lost along with your phone.
What happens if I delete my account?
Everything is erased: profile, portrait, conversations and photos. Deletion takes effect after 30 days, and until then signing in is enough to change your mind. Only payment records stay, without your name: the law requires keeping them.
How old do I have to be?
16 or older. Under 18 it is friendship only: the sphere does not talk about intimacy and looks only for friends for you. If you give an age under 16, the conversation stops and the account is deleted after 30 days, and signing in does not undo that. If we have your age wrong, write to support.
