GLUE: Terms of Service (Service Rules)
Effective date: September 26, 2026 · Version: 1.1 (open beta)
These Terms govern your use of GLUE: the website and web app at iglued.us, the GLUE Telegram mini app and bot, and related services (the “Service”). The Service is provided by GLUE (iglued.us), operated by its founder during the open beta (“GLUE”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or talking to the Sphere you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Paid Services Terms and the Refund Policy.
1. What GLUE is, and is not
GLUE is a conversational service. You talk to the Sphere, an AI conversational agent, by text or voice about how you live. From that conversation GLUE builds your portrait and uses AI-driven simulations in a virtual environment, where modeled characters based on portraits are placed together, to show where a shared life with another person (a public figure, a friend, a partner or another GLUE member) is likely to be difficult.
GLUE does not predict whether a relationship will succeed, whether you will love someone or whether someone will love you. Results are illustrative scenarios, not facts about real people or guarantees about the future.
GLUE is not a medical, psychological, counselling or crisis service. If you are in danger or thinking about harming yourself or others, contact local emergency services or a crisis line immediately.
You are talking to an AI. The Sphere is not a human. It may be wrong, may misunderstand you and does not have feelings. The product says so on the sign-in screen and in Help.
2. Who may use GLUE
You must be 16 or older. If you are 16 or 17, GLUE is for friendship only: matching looks only for friends for you, and topics of intimacy stay closed.
What counts is the age you tell the Sphere, not a guess. If you tell the Sphere you are under 16, it first asks your age again, and GLUE closes only if your answer confirms it. Then the Sphere answers that GLUE is for people 16 and older and that you can write to support@iglued.us if your age was taken wrongly; the conversation does not go on, and the rest of GLUE closes too: purchases, comparisons, invitations and your photo album. You can still read your conversation, sign out and delete your account. The account and all its data are deleted after 30 days. Signing in during those 30 days does not cancel this deletion; deleting the account yourself erases it at once. If support confirms your age was taken wrongly and lifts the closure, everything opens again and the deletion is cancelled. The optional face check never closes GLUE to anyone: its age estimate can only keep a stated age from counting when that age is far below what your face suggests. One person, one account. You may not use GLUE on behalf of someone else.
3. Your account
You can start as a guest and later link an email address, Google, Apple or Telegram account. Until you link one, a guest account opens only in the browser where it was started. Keep your access to those accounts secure; everything done under your account is yours. Tell us at support@iglued.us if you suspect misuse.
4. What you give us and what we do with it
Everything you tell the Sphere (text, voice, photos) is processed to build your portrait and run simulations, as described in the Privacy Policy. Your conversation is never shown to another person. What another member can learn about you is limited to the result of a comparison you both took part in and the summary the Service shows to both sides.
You keep all rights to what you tell us. You grant GLUE the licence needed to operate the Service: to store, transcribe, analyse and display your content to you, and to process it with our service providers (see the Privacy Policy).
Other people in your story. You may mention other people: a partner, an ex, a parent. Do it only to the extent needed to describe your own life. Do not upload other people's photos, messages or documents without their consent.
5. Public figures
GLUE offers comparisons with public figures (in the app, “stars”). Each such reading is an editorial analysis built only from what the person has said about themselves publicly (interviews, books, published statements), with sources. It is our reading of a public image, not the person, and implies no affiliation, endorsement or consent. We do not synthesise their voice or face and do not attribute words to them.
If you are a public figure (or their representative) and want a reading removed or corrected, write to support@iglued.us with “public figure” in the subject. We act within one business day.
6. Comparisons, invitations and introductions
You may invite a friend, a partner or anyone you know to take their own conversation so that GLUE can compare the two of you. The invited person sees who invited them and decides for themselves. Comparisons are shown only when both sides took part.
When GLUE introduces two members to each other, it does so only after both have agreed. Introductions are suggestions; whether you meet, talk or continue is entirely yours. GLUE does not guarantee that anyone will be introduced to you or that any introduction will lead to anything.
7. Rules of conduct
Do not:
- impersonate anyone or misstate your age, identity or relationship status in ways that could harm others;
- harass, threaten, stalk or abuse anyone you meet through GLUE, on or off the Service;
- use GLUE for commercial solicitation, escort or paid companionship services, or any unlawful purpose;
- try to extract, reverse-engineer, probe or attack the Service, its models or its infrastructure, or use automated tools to access it;
- upload content that is sexual, violent, hateful, or that violates others' rights.
We may warn, restrict or close accounts that break these rules, and we may report unlawful behaviour to authorities.
8. Safety
Meeting people you do not know carries risk. Meet in public places, tell someone where you are, and trust your judgement. GLUE does not run background checks on members. Report anyone who makes you uncomfortable at support@iglued.us: during the beta there is no in-app reporting or blocking.
9. Paid features
Some features are paid; see the Paid Services Terms (Public Offer) and the Refund Policy. Prices, what is included and how renewal works are shown before you pay.
10. Our content and your cards
Text, design, the Sphere's words and the simulations belong to GLUE or its licensors. Cards the Service generates for you (for example, a comparison card) may be shared by you anywhere; they are designed not to contain other people's personal data beyond what both sides agreed to show.
11. Beta, availability and changes
GLUE is in open beta: features change, break and sometimes disappear. We may modify or discontinue parts of the Service. We will announce material changes to these Terms on the site; continued use after the effective date means you accept them.
12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim warranties of any kind, and our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law of your country of residence, including mandatory consumer rights in the EU, the UK and Brazil.
13. Closing your account
You may delete your account at any time in the app. Deletion takes effect after a 30-day grace period during which you can change your mind by signing in again; after that your data is erased as described in the Privacy Policy. If GLUE was closed for age (section 2), deleting the account erases it at once.
14. Law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the law of the country where GLUE's operator is established, and disputes go to the competent courts there, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection of your country of residence. Before going to court, write to us: most things are solved by email.
